Through Eric’s pen, the Lord began teaching me the beauty of union, stillness before Him in the prayer closet and the delight of continually beholding Jesus. I found a depth of intimacy I didn’t know I could have. I slipped by IPad between the pages of my college textbooks and read Eric’s ebooks through all my university classes.
I also awkwardly began crying in public places at inopportune times when God’s voice would suddenly fall on me or I would sense His touch. I found myself hiding in my car throughout the day, just to be alone with Jesus for a few moments. The testimonies and experiences Eric includes in his writings unveiled God’s nature and character to me in ways I had never heard of.
