In Proverbs 25:9b we read, “discover (disclose) not a
secret to another.” For years I have
felt the importance of teaching God’s people that they must learn to keep God’s
secrets. Many of God’s precious
revelations cannot be given to us because we are not capable of handling them
wisely. We do not have enough reverence
and fear of God in our hearts to obey the convictions of our heart. “The secret of the Lord is with them that
fear Him; and He will show them His covenant.” Psalm 25:14
When the Lord knows that He can trust us with His
secrets, He will reveal things to us which He cannot reveal to others.
