Throughout my 28+ years of serving in ministry, I have come to see that there is an alarming lack of clarity that exists among believers concerning their assignments in the earth. Although gifted and extremely charismatic, many are deficient in knowledge as it relates to their areas of influence, their God-given mandates, and their ability to be increasingly effective within their spheres of authority.
The residual effect of ill-prepared believers compounds more and more as they are set in place and commissioned without proper training and quipping. A survey of the landscape of Christendom reveals that there are many who lack direction and are running aimlessly, vicariously wasting oil as prodigals (a.k.a. “oily prodigals”.
I firmly believe this initial written work, which is part one of a mini-series designed to assist believers to ascend in their spheres of influence, will serve as a manual for mountaineers. No one should ever attempt to climb a “Mount Everest” assignment without first being equipped to do so. Beloved, your mandate in the earth is of a magnitude that requires more than an unction to function but revelatory knowledge and skill that will usher you into a place of ascension as you emerge and lead.
