Jesus proclaimed, This gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all nations, and then the end shall come (Matthew 24:14). A kingdom has a king. A kingdom is the domain of a king, where he has sovereign power. There seems to be a difference between the Gospel preached by much of the church when compared with the Gospel Jesus Christ of Nazareth preached. These days we hear about a wonderful and powerful man who makes us feel better, but virtually nothing about the King of Kings and His requirements of His subjects. King Jesus wants us to hear His voice and obey!
