The author believes that God, who inspired the Scriptures by the Holy Spirit, has placed within them certain major keys. When properly used, they become interpretive tools that unlock the doors of the inexhaustible riches of Gods Word. These keys are an understanding of the Covenants, the Tabernacle of Moses, the Priesthood and the Offerings, the Tabernacle of David along with the Temple of Solomon and finally, the Feasts of the Lord. These keys, through their ecclesiastical and political laws, governed the Hebrew nation. Because of this, the Hebrew mind was saturated with the external forms in which these spiritual concepts were embodied. Hence, the New Testament writers continually referred to this Old Covenant language when setting forth the New Covenant truths. The New Testament, then, is the fulfillment and revelation of the Feasts of the Lord, as well as the other subjects mentioned above. In this text, the author deals with both Mosaic and Post-Mosaic Festivals. He also deals briefly with the modern Jewish Festivals and provides important spiritual lessons for the Church today from them. He sets forth in this text the historical-typical and historical-anti-typical fulfillment of these feasts through Christ and the Church. It is based on solid and systematic theology which is the preferred method for interpretation of typical language. The student of the Bible will find this textbook to be a great tool in unlocking this generally misunderstood area of the Scriptures.
