What is the deaf and dumb spirit? It is a blockage of the spiritual ear of the believer. It is a spirit that comes against the church attempting to justify and perpetuate a religious spirit. It cuts off faith so a religious spirit can begin to reign in this environment without faith. The deaf and dumb spirit cuts off the believer's hearing of the Word of God and stops their faith from growing. (Romans 10:17) This spirit desires to keep you where you are at and away from the revelation found in God's Word. It also seeks bondage rather than the freedom that is yours through Christ as a believer.
