Description

Best-selling author John Loren Sandford believes God’s people can make a difference in their families, communities, nation and world. What will it take? In Healing the Nations, Sandford says it will take mature sons and daughters willing to look beyond their own problems and embrace the hurting. We can all become burden-bearing intercessors whom God uses to heal the wounds of abuse, racial hatred or the pain of ethnic cleansing. Sandford explains:
  • How generational sin is passed down through families or nations
  • How to heal generational sin or addictions
  • Satan’s master plan and how to minimize its impact
  • Seven rewards from burned-bearing
  • How to break free from individual or corporate mental strongholds
  • Keys to unlock revival in a nation

About the Author:
In 1974 John Loren Sandford, together with his wife, Paula, founded Elijah House, an international writing, teaching and counseling ministry headquartered in Post Falls, Idaho. Its mission is restoration and reconciliation. With numerous full-time staff and counselors and a long waiting list, Elijah House treats marriage and family problems, abuse, multiple personality disorders, schizophrenia and depression. There are now five international Elijah Houses – in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Austria and Finland.

John Sandford, a Congregational pastor for 21 years, travels worldwide with Paula. Together they conduct seminars on marriage and family, inner healing and transformation, prayer, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, burden-bearing and intercession, small group ministry and leadership training. Active in the renewal and reconciliation movements, the Sandfords have taught and counseled many Christian leaders and make frequent television appearances. John and Paula have co-authored four books. They have six children, twenty grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
